It says "Our class really shines", and the word 'shines' is glitter-fied!
The background is just a plain dark navy blue fabric. I cut strips of multiple colors of paper in various lengths, and stapled them up in random order around the words, making sure to tuck them in under the black paper. I tried to start with the longest strips to make sure that they were spread out, then filled in the shorter lengths. At random ends, I stapled stars that I had written my students' names on.
I love love love stars, so they are everywhere around my classroom. Bright colors are also an easy way to brighten up the hallway!
